So far, when asked who I would like to invite to dinner, I have often answered \u201eAngela Merkel\u201c. I would actually be interested in meeting the long-serving chancellor in private.<\/p>\n

What is she like? Does her humour, which is usually only cautiously visible in a political context, come through more strongly in private encounters?<\/p>\n

Which topics are particularly important to you at the moment?<\/p>\n

I think it would be exciting to find out.<\/p>\n

Eating with the women of...<\/h4>\n

I would also be interested in \u201ethe women of\u201c...<\/p>\n

In other words, with women who are mainly known because they are married to a famous man. For example, the wife of Bono, Prince William or Obama. What characterises and moves their lives?<\/p>\n

Dining with exciting women and men ...<\/h4>\n

And then I would like to meet the women who have made a difference in the world. Malala, who campaigns for education, especially for women. And Waries Dirie, who fights against circumcision.<\/p>\n

Or with men like Boyan Slat from Ocean Cleanup<\/a>, who has developed a passive system that fishes plastic out of the oceans without using any energy. I have already written<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In short: I am interested in men and women who have the courage to dare to change the world. Many World changer<\/a> I only know from Books<\/a>. Meeting some of them live would be a dream come true.<\/p>\n

Eating with a world changer...<\/h4>\n

Food - also super popular with world changers Tony Rinaudo<\/a>, the \u201eforest maker\u201c, who developed a method to grow new trees from tree stumps - as a result, 7 million hectares were reforested in Niger alone.<\/p>\n

That gives me a lot of hope for our world. I've already met him, I'll write about that later. But another meal with him and his wife Elizabeth - preferably under the shade of newly grown trees, that would be wonderful.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
