Or to put it another way: I have taken the country and its people to my heart and stay connected with the people I know there through Insta, Skype and Zoom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And so it took an emotional toll on me when I heard that first too much rain and then a huge plague of locusts destroyed the harvests. Not just from Covid-19, but from hunger!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>My girlfriend <a href=\"https:\/\/honigdusche.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Sarah<\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>has been living and working in Ethiopia since 2018. Together with her husband and local partners, she has developed the project <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.betterplace.org\/de\/projects\/80244-nothilfe-fuer-aethiopien-das-y-e-b-a-r-k-i-projekt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Yebarki<\/a><\/em> which helps needy families with food and hygiene articles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also strengthens the economy through direct purchases from local businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I want to do something! But how, without money?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I wanted to support Sarah's project - but how? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to Corona, I myself had a huge loss of income because events and coaching were cancelled. You can't support anything from nothing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Or is it? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I had an idea. I thought: <em>When<\/em> new people my offers like <a href=\"https:\/\/down-to-earth.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Books<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/kerstinhack.de\/en\/coaching\/\">Coaching<\/a> discover, <em>then<\/em> I can afford to support the project.
