The amount of time we spend working in our lives is immense. On average, that means a 24-hour day:<\/p><p>8 hours of work + break + commute = approx. 50 % of daily waking time.<\/p><h2>Get out of the hamster wheel<\/h2><p>Unfortunately, I have observed that <strong>far too many<\/strong> People who use working time as <strong>Experience the hamster wheel,<\/strong> from which they see no escape. If this feeling accounts for 50 % of your waking time and therefore also affects the other half of the day, in which you have to recover from it or are already looking forward to the next working day with dread, that's tough.<\/p><p>Added to this is the rapid pace of change and the need to adapt to new circumstances in recent months.<\/p><ul><li>Before the pandemic, attendance at work was usually the norm.<\/li><li>The pandemic led to the obligation to work from home and for many people the challenge of organising themselves between the kitchen, children and desk in the living room.<\/li><li>Corona is currently creating a new rhythm in which working from home is just as natural as being at work.<\/li><\/ul><p>This change has shaken things up and now requires more than ever that employers, but also employees, take responsibility for how the organisation of work affects them and the company.<\/p><p>But how do you create a good working environment in which people feel comfortable and alive? In my current<a href=\"https:\/\/down-to-earth.de\/newsletter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"> Inspiration mail <\/a>I have described this.<\/p><p><\/p><p><\/p><h2>8 ingredients for a healthy working environment<\/h2><p><\/p><p><\/p><ol><li><strong>Vision<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Structure<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Productivity<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Highlights<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Energy<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Relationships<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Reflection<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Peace and quiet<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Yes, an employer bears responsibility here. But an employee must also take responsibility and influence this situation.<\/p><h2>Reflect on your working environment<\/h2><p><\/p><p><\/p><p><\/p><p><\/p><p>Take a look at the company you work for or manage and ask yourself:<\/p><p><\/p><p><\/p><ul><li>Where are our biggest weak points for healthy, comfortable working?<\/li><li>What one thing could I do to improve this?<\/li><\/ul><p><\/p><p><\/p><h2>Shape your working environment<\/h2><p>I want you to be able to say for yourself (as an employee and\/or employer) that your work fulfils you and is fun for you and your colleagues, and if the questions above have encouraged you to change and improve your working environment, then I am very happy about that, and it is important that you are aware that you are responsible for this and can influence it, because ...<\/p><h2>... working at work also means <em>on<\/em> Work profession<\/h2><p><\/p><p>It can help if you define your personal barriers and drivers for change, recognise leadership tasks and identify your own values. And then place these values in a wider context.<\/p><ol><li><strong>Where<\/strong> do you recognise in your tasks right now <strong>Sense<\/strong>? Or where can you consciously give meaning?<\/li><li><strong>How<\/strong> would you like - with this in mind - to be able to <strong>design<\/strong> to enable you and others to work comfortably?<\/li><li><strong>What you need<\/strong> for this (personnel, material, ...)?<\/li><\/ol><p>Your answers to these questions will give you a different perspective on what you do. They give you an indication of how you can consciously shape your work and your working environment and communicate about it. The consequences can be<\/p><ul><li>You recognise the meaning of your work more deeply than before and are more motivated in your work. You may notice this in a new lightness and in the way you infect those around you. As a manager, you support your employees through increased appreciation and greater participation in decision-making and you dare to try out new participation processes.<\/li><li>You will find it easier to handle his material, relationship and leadership tasks if you are more aware of your own responsibilities and share burdens.<\/li><\/ul><p>Did you like these tips and did they help you?
