{"id":1940,"date":"2013-05-07T08:11:25","date_gmt":"2013-05-07T06:11:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kerstinpur.de\/?p=1940"},"modified":"2013-05-07T08:11:25","modified_gmt":"2013-05-07T06:11:25","slug":"a-tailwind-when-others-lend-their-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kerstinhack.de\/en\/ruckenwind-wenn-andere-mit-unterstutzen\/","title":{"rendered":"Tailwind - when others provide support"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_1941\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1941\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kerstinhack.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/IMG_2144.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1941\" src=\"https:\/\/kerstinhack.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/IMG_2144-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"Whilst renovating.\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1941\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Whilst renovating.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>One of the things that has moved me most over the last few days during the \u201eRansom Campaign\u201c has been the support I\u2019ve received from others.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The more than 120 individual posts, both short and long, on the ransom so far.<\/li>\n<li>The posts on Facebook, blogs and so on in which people have drawn their friends\u2019 attention to the project and the current crisis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Yesterday I was moved to tears when I was in the <a title=\"Live Lighter by Heike Malisic and Beate Nordstrand\" href=\"http:\/\/lebeleichter.blogspot.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Live Lighter Blog<\/a>, read Heike Malisic\u2019s article: <a title=\"Don\u2019t wait for miracles \u2013 be one yourself Heike Malisic Schiff Kerstin Hack\" href=\"http:\/\/lebeleichter.blogspot.de\/2013\/05\/warte-nicht-auf-wunder-sei-selber-eins.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Don\u2019t wait for a miracle \u2013 be one yourself.<\/a> She writes about several amazing women who dare to make a difference in the world \u2013 and counts me amongst them. Then she writes:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div>It is an honour for me to know such women and to carry them in my heart.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>And I think that\u2019s exactly how one person can stand up for another.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I\u2019m sure you\u2019ve already read about it on Beate\u2019s blog last week. Kerstin\u2019s plight \u2013 she suddenly received an unexpected bill for \u20ac20,000. She\u2019s praying for a miracle, but isn\u2019t too proud to go public with her situation.
