\"2013-05-30<\/a>In order to raise the money needed to fit out the boat \u2013 around 200 euros a day for materials and labour combined \u2013 I rent out<\/p>\n

I occasionally rent out my bedroom to tourists visiting Berlin. And then I sleep in the office myself.<\/p>\n

I also sell as many second-hand books as possible. The pile of books for that is in the office too.<\/p>\n

Everything came crashing down last night. I\u2019d probably piled them too high. In the middle of the night, whilst I was asleep, the pile toppled over. It made a loud noise. Luckily, it landed right next to the mattress I was sleeping on. Not a single book fell on my head! I\u2019m very grateful for that.<\/p>\n

Just imagine the headline in *BILD*: \u201ePublisher killed by a pile of books!\u201c<\/p>\n

But one thing is clear: I should reduce my book collection as soon as possible to prevent any further mishaps of this sort. And on top of that, every cent goes towards the ship project.<\/p>\n
