Of course I honour and obey him \u2013 he is God. That goes without saying!<\/p>\n<p>But as I stood there, wondering whether I wanted orange juice or coffee \u2013 or both \u2013 it suddenly dawned on me: I like God.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I like his creativity, the variety with which he uses colours, plants and flowers \u2013 I like his creative energy.<\/li>\n<li>I also like his approachability, his warmth and his friendliness.<\/li>\n<li>I like his clarity, his way of speaking.<\/li>\n<li>I like the generosity of his heart.<\/li>\n<li>I like the fact that he talks to me and with me.<\/li>\n<li>I like the fact that he listens to me.<\/li>\n<li>I like the fact that he knows me and still wants to get to know me better.<\/li>\n<li>I like the fact that he likes to look after me<\/li>\n<li>I like him.<\/li>\n<li>I actually like him.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sometimes I wish he were different. I wish he\u2019d act the way I\u2019d like him to more often. But when I imagine having a partner who\u2019s the sort of man I sometimes wish God were, I\u2019m filled with dread. I\u2019d soon come to see him as a wimp who does everything I say. Horrible!<a href=\"https:\/\/kerstinhack.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/photo.php_.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-2525\" alt=\"photo.php\" src=\"https:\/\/kerstinhack.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/photo.php_.jpg\" width=\"133\" height=\"177\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I currently have three men from Portugal on board who are helping me. Sometimes, when I tell them to do this or that in a certain way, they say a firm \u201eNo!\u201c. Usually for good reason, because it\u2019s better done differently. Sometimes it\u2019s simply because they prefer to do things differently. That\u2019s fine too. And they\u2019re motivated by a desire to support me and help me in the best possible way! And I don\u2019t have to lug heavy bags about when they\u2019re around. They\u2019re happy to take the load off me<\/p>\n<p>With that in mind, it strikes me: I still like God even when he\u2019s a bit of a \u201emacho\u201c at times, insists on his independence and won\u2019t let me tell him what to do \u2013 at least not when it comes to, <em>like<\/em> he is supposed to do things.
