\"2014-01-25<\/a>As I was walking home through the snow, I found myself wondering what the best moment of the day had been\u2026 and I couldn\u2019t decide.
\n\u2013 Perhaps it was the moment when I woke up in the morning and realised I wasn\u2019t feeling sick anymore \u2013 the night before, I\u2019d thoroughly upset my stomach with food that was too greasy.
\n\u2013 Perhaps it was the moment when a manager told me he\u2019d come across the Quadro through an advert in ZEIT online \"Learning to forgive\"<\/a> came across\u2026 and that\u2019s how the whole organisation would have found out about me (How on earth did ZEIT online find us? It wasn\u2019t us!)
\n\u2013 Perhaps it was those moments when I saw that some thirty pastors and senior staff members were listening intently to me, taking notes and recording what I was saying about the insights I had discovered through coaching and psychological concepts. And during practical exercises on individual concepts, I could see from their expressions just how much this was stirring within them.
\n\u2013 Perhaps it was the lunchtime walk through the snow.
\n\u2013 Perhaps it was the moment when the leader, having noticed that I was disappointed there wasn\u2019t a snowball fight, suggested we say goodbye with a snowball fight\u2026
\n\u2013 Perhaps it was those moments when the man who drove me the hour to the nearest station, in response to my request, \u201eTell me a bit about yourself!\u201c, briefly recounted his career and then spoke at length about the seven months leading up to his wife\u2019s death \u2013 the most intense period of their marriage.
\n\u2013 Perhaps it was that time when I was sitting on the train, reading a novel to relax \u2013 one about a man who, after thirty years of a marriage that had grown stale, was trying to rekindle the love between himself and his wife \u2013 and as I read, a man in the next compartment was playing the accordion\u2026A live concert just for me\u2026.
\n\u2013 Perhaps it was the moment when, after getting off the train at Berlin S\u00fcdkreuz, I realised my mobile phone was missing \u2013 and the conductor on an ICE train allowed me to travel on to the main station, even though I didn\u2019t have a valid ticket, in the hope that I might still catch my train there\u2026 (it was actually still there) and checked connections and timings on his mobile to help me. And I \u2013 whilst he was searching for me \u2013 found the mobile in the \u201ewrong\u201c luggage bag.
\n\u2013 Perhaps it was the moment when I popped round to my neighbour\u2019s \u2013 the one I often pray with \u2013 and told her that everything had gone well, and she was delighted for me\u2026.
\n\u2013 Or perhaps this is the moment\u2026 when, after a long, good day in which I\u2019ve received and given so much, I fall into bed feeling grateful, happy and absolutely knackered\u2026 and look forward to sleeping like a log.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
