Over the last few days, I\u2019ve been feeling a bit tired and downhearted. When I prayed this morning and spoke to God about it, it dawned on me: over the last few months, I\u2019ve been planning and organising a great deal and working hard on the boat. That was good, but it\u2019s not what makes my soul blossom. My soul blossoms when it sees beauty.<\/p>\n

It\u2019ll be a while yet before the boat\u2019s finer details come to the fore \u2013 even though it\u2019s lovely that the roof\u2019s now been painted and the floors are in. But the really beautiful, creative touches usually come at the end \u2013 so that\u2019ll take a while yet. But if my soul needs to create beauty, it lacks the strength when there is nothing beautiful to create.<\/p>\n

I wouldn\u2019t be myself if I didn\u2019t do something about it \u2013 once I\u2019ve realised something.<\/p>\n
