\"2014-03-28<\/a>You\u2019d like to help out with my boat, but you\u2019re too far away \u2013 for example, in the Stuttgart area. No problem! Right now, I need a mechanical engineer, an engineer or a skilled DIY enthusiast for a few hours to help me get a water treatment system up and running again.<\/p>\n

Background: A year ago, someone removed a water treatment system \/ desalination unit from another ship and brought it over to mine. Unfortunately, that person wasn\u2019t clever enough to put the system back together straight away. And I wasn\u2019t clever enough to realise that. Now I\u2019ve got a pile of loose parts and I don\u2019t know how they fit together.<\/p>\n

The system is currently in Stuttgart\/Riedenberg because \u2013 once it can be put back into operation \u2013 it will be inspected by a water company there before we reinstall it.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve got the instruction manual for it \u2013 for someone who knows their way around machines, it shouldn\u2019t be too difficult \u2013 I reckon we\u2019ll have it up and running again in no time on Saturday.<\/p>\n

I paid 2,500 euros for this gem \u2013 it\u2019s not exactly a trivial matter that it needs to be up and running again soon.<\/p>\n
