Without giving it much thought, I was about to move it straight into the spam folder.\u00a0 Every day I receive dozens of emails that use exactly this salutation to promise me millions. Or ask for help for children supposedly suffering from leukaemia.<\/p>\n<p>Just as I had my finger on the delete button, I realised that the sender was a real friend of mine \u2013 one of my best friends, in fact. I wondered if I sometimes do the same with God. He speaks to me: \u201eHello, dear friend\u2026\u201c I press \u201eDelete\u201c because I don\u2019t even realise he\u2019s talking to me. Instead of simply saying, \u201eOh. Hello. It\u2019s you!
