\"CIMG0056\"<\/a>Eine meiner Freundinnen stammt aus dem Nahen Osten. Ihre arabische Familie hat – nach der Staatsgr\u00fcndung Israels – ihr Haus in Jerusalem verloren. Sie hat noch viele Verwandte in Israel und den angrenzenden L\u00e4ndern und Regionen. Sie hat mir mehrfach erz\u00e4hlt, dass sie – neben dem menschlichen Leid – besonders betroffen davon ist, dass die Israelis an vielen Stellen die Olivenb\u00e4ume der Araber herausgerissen haben. So ganz verstanden habe ich das nie – bis ich k\u00fcrzlich in dem Roman Jasmin<\/em> des in Badgdad aufgewachsenen und sp\u00e4ter nach Israel emigrierten Autors Eli Amir eine Beschreibung las, wie ein Araber einen jahrhundertealte Olivenhain aufgeben musste, weil darauf eine neue j\u00fcdische Stadt gebaut wurde. Er konnte den Schmerz nicht verkraften…nicht mehr essen…und starb mit den B\u00e4umen, die er von seinen Vorfahren geerbt hat. Dieses Bild hat sich mir eingepr\u00e4gt…und mir eine der vielen Facetten dieser Region nahe gebracht.<\/p>\n

Ich m\u00f6chte nicht nur die Fakten kennen und die biblischen Texte, sondern die Situation der j\u00fcdischen und arabischen Menschen auch mehr von Herzen begreifen. Deshalb habe ich die Freundin und eine weitere, die sich viel mit Israel besch\u00e4ftigt hat, um ihre Buchtipps gebeten. Jasmin habe ich schon gelesen – ein tolles Buch, das zu Herzen geht und Verst\u00e4ndnis f\u00fcr die Juden und Araber schenkt. Die anderen B\u00fccher werde ich nach und nach lesen – und bin gespannt.<\/p>\n
