Even if I don't completely agree with it, there's some truth in it: when you set out to do something and then don't achieve it, it often feels like hell - this mixture of frustration, failure, a guilty conscience and a bit of anger at yourself.<\/p>\n<p>Good intentions and the goals you achieve with them can be a real joy. At the beginning of October, I realised that the mountain of notes on things that are important to me in life had grown to over 100 sheets. Sheets full of important thoughts, but far too many to be useful.<\/p>\n<p>I worked out how many pieces of paper I needed to process (copy, sort away etc.) each day to get to 0 by Christmas. 3 a day directly in the morning in or after my quiet time - that was doable... and 6 days before Christmas I reached the target - what a joy!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Good intentions are not as bad as their reputation. They are only doomed to failure if they<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>are too unspecific, e.g. \u201eI want to do more sport\u201c instead of \u201eI want to do a 7-minute workout straight after getting up on weekday mornings..., e.g. with the <a title=\"7 min workout timer\" href=\"https:\/\/7-min.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">7 min workout timer.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>are formulated as outcome goals instead of action goals that focus on your own influence: \u201eI want to lose 10 kilos\u201c instead of \u201eI want to reduce my weight by 10 kilos by avoiding carbohydrates in the evening and cycling to the office every day.\u201c<\/li>\n<li>are partly or completely beyond your control: \u201eFinding the man or woman of your dreams\u201c instead of \u201eMeeting new people on the internet \/ at events every Thursday evening.\u201c<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0It is easier to achieve goals when<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>they are clearly and specifically formulated and attractive.<\/li>\n<li>the goal is a little ambitious, but realistic overall.<\/li>\n<li>you emphasise the change in your actions - e.g. instead of \u201eI want to lose 10 kilos\u201c, say \u201eI want to eat only carbohydrate-free food 5 days a week from 18.00h and thus reduce my weight by 10 kilos!\u201c<\/li>\n<li>When you get support - like a coaching client who wanted to reduce his weight by 40 kilos from 128 kilos - and knew after a few unsuccessful attempts that he was finding it difficult to do it alone. So he hired me as a companion to help him with practical nutritional issues as well as emotional processes - the famous fight against old patterns and the inner bastard. He has now come a long way - the first 20 kilos are gone - and was able to celebrate with new clothes and the joy of no longer knowing what size trousers fit him.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Your goals?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Perhaps you also wish that in the new year<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to be physically healthier and fitter,<\/li>\n<li>to progress personally or professionally,<\/li>\n<li>to grow spiritually.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I would like to support you in achieving the goals that suit you and your life.
