\"2015-02-15<\/a>Fifteen years ago, on a gloomy Berlin day in February, I was sitting in a neo-lit office in Sch\u00f6neberg town hall - yes, the one where Kennedy said \u201eIch bin ein Berliner!\u201c before I was born. I signed a grey form and said: \u201eI'm a Berliner - and I'm starting a business here!\u201c That was the beginning of Down to Earth.<\/p>\n

15 years later and many experiences later, I look back. On the Blog from Down to Earth<\/a> I have some of our Secrets of success <\/a>reveal.<\/p>\n

And I even have a Video <\/a>turned to it.<\/p>\n

And I celebrate.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I received a few nice presents for my birthday.<\/p>\n

\u00a0The most practical thing: An Ipad stand<\/strong><\/p>\n

Made of wood from the ship. To make it easier for me to exercise in the morning. There's a programme that I like to use. But it's stupid if you can't see the gymnast.<\/p>\n

The most delicious - a dark chocolate with a cranberry filling.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Without further ado.<\/p>\n

The most surprising thing: A tray<\/strong><\/p>\n

Made of fine wood. I won it in a competition that I can't even remember. Really nice because my old one burnt recently. And I need my money for other things right now.<\/p>\n

\"2015-02-15The funniest and most touching thing: a letter of congratulations<\/strong><\/p>\n

My best friend came up to me on my Down to Earth birthday and said, beaming: I wrote you something for your 10th birthday. <\/em>I said: Aber Down to Earth will be 15 after all.<\/em><\/p>\n

We laughed uproariously - mistakes\u00a0\"2015-02-15And she first read me the touching and encouraging text.<\/p>\n

And then spontaneously added five more lines.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The most relieving thing: A donation for the ship<\/strong><\/p>\n

A financial gift that will help me with the next challenges: heating, floors.<\/p>\n

The greatest thing: being able to do what I can and what enriches others.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Despite all the ups and downs and challenges: It is infinitely moving to be able to do things that I am good at, that enrich others and that make me realise that I was also created for this.<\/p>\n

My birthday wish:<\/strong> The Ship ready in the next few months <\/a>to open a new chapter in the history of Down to Earth... one that has already begun.<\/p>\n
