\"Windows<\/a>Celebrating is one of the best things in life. Celebrating means celebrating highlights, special, unique and remarkable things in a special way. You can celebrate successes, relationships (e.g. wedding anniversaries), life (birthdays) and much more.<\/p>\n

I enjoy celebrating the first day of the month. For me, beginnings are something special. The first day of a new month marks such a beginning. I have 28 to 31 days ahead of me that I can organise and fill.<\/p>\n

I celebrate this day by spending it differently to the others. I don't work \"normally\", but go to a nice place (usually a cosy caf\u00e9), take time to stroll around, go for a walk, let my mind wander and pray.<\/p>\n

But also to reflect: I look at the events and projects of the past month, e.g. a trip, a lecture, two new publications (Clear Leadership and In Covenant with God)....<\/p>\n

And I take time to plan and design. I think about it:<\/p>\n

- What do I want to create this month?<\/p>\n

- What is important to me?<\/p>\n

- What should have happened by the end of the month for me to say: That was a good month?<\/p>\n

I usually take a whole day for it.<\/p>\n

Today will probably only be half a day because I want to get a few things done. Tomorrow I'm going away for a few days to write a new book in peace and quiet....<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
