God knows how to make me happy. In my book \u201e\u201cThe Hut and Me\" <\/a>I have drawn up a list of various things in which I sense and experience God\u2019s loving presence in my life:<\/p>\n

Looking at the list, what struck me most was that I very often discover exactly the right books that I need for the next stages of my development. I\u2019m simply the sort of person who learns a great deal from inspiring books. <\/em><\/p>\n

I could see these helpful discoveries as a coincidence, if I wanted to. That would be fine too. However, I suspect that my good Lord is playfully putting the odd book my way because he wants to support my development.<\/em><\/p>\n

Finding the right book<\/h3>\n

I experienced that again today. De<\/span>The Kirchentag was my last business appointment. Whilst praying and making plans at the start of 2010, I felt that God was advising me to keep the summer free of appointments so that I would have the time and space to dream, think and plan.<\/p>\n

Over the coming weeks and months, I want to give some thought to the direction I want my life and my business to take over the next seven years.<\/p>\n

Today \u2013 completely out of the blue \u2013 I was given the book *StrengthsFinder 2.0* as a present. It\u2019s a professional assessment of one\u2019s own strengths and talents.\u00a0 I already have a rough idea of where my strengths lie, but exploring and defining them in more detail is exactly the right thing to do at the start of this journey of self-discovery.<\/p>\n
