I never said it was easy. And that would also be a lie.<\/p>\n<p>In 2012, I started to realise my dream of converting an old ship into a houseboat and seminar boat. I thought it would take two years. The planned two years turned into six and the costs increased at a similar rate.<\/p>\n<p>And there were also a few extra crises. In my book Leinen los. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.down-to-earth.de\/buecher\/buch-leinen-los.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">How I built a houseboat in the centre of Berlin to live my dream,<\/a> I have described some of them. For example, what it feels like when you hear that the ship is travelling on a storm surge. <a href=\"https:\/\/kerstinhack.de\/en\/general\/ship-flooding-disaster\/\">Shipyard<\/a> runs full of water.<\/p>\n<p>Short version: To cry.<\/p>\n<p>The dream is beautiful. The reality is hard. The Aldi must have been empty afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>Or when refugees - side by side with German and international friends - spend weeks removing rust and transforming the ship into a masterpiece. Or when many people contribute large and small gifts to make the dream a reality. How do you realise your dream?<\/p>\n<p>Three steps are necessary to move from dream to reality<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Become free:<\/strong> Get rid of inner fears and blockages<\/li>\n<li><strong>Be concrete:<\/strong> Developing a clear concept from a vague idea<\/li>\n<li><strong>Becoming visible:<\/strong> For most dreams, it is important to get others on board.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Then at some point I had the idea: I could teach other people. I know how to solve fears, turn ideas into realisable projects or products and develop websites and crowdfunding.<\/p>\n<h4>The reality - I'll do it: Cast off<\/h4>\n<p>Because it takes several months of work and time to develop such an intensive programme. And time is money, so I thought: I'll start a crowdfunding campaign. That way, we can all make the development of the workshops possible together.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.startnext.com\/leinen-los\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><em><strong>Cast off. 3 workshop seminars for dream realisers<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That's why I'm inviting you to join in.
