Arrive and breathe a sigh of relief
Right now I'm sitting on board with my laptop and wine... looking at the moon and the clouds still red from the evening sun and listening to the birds at their evening concert... a nightingale has taken a seat on an old crane. Every now and then geese or herons pass by... sometimes party boats too.
It's the first Saturday in over 3 years that I haven't travelled and have no real work to do on the boat: I've been living on board for a week now and I love it. Even in rainy weather, there's something calming about looking out of the water and into the distance. It's a great gift.
Of course there are still boxes that need to be unpacked and put away, there are still lots of paint stains on the floor and a lot of dust. And of course there are many corners that still need to be built. All in good time. Now it's time to settle in.
From time to time, people come by to help me (there are still about 1000 hours of work for skilled and unskilled labour...), or who just want to have a chat or just to be in

sit quietly on deck and look out over the water.
What comes next: finding a place for things and a rhythm for myself. I want to take the next two months to do this - interrupted by a refugee congress at which I'm holding a workshop, a few days' holiday with friends and my brother's wedding. Guests will be coming on board before and after that and I'm excited to see how it all develops and how I will develop it. And in the areas where I can make progress without experts, I will continue to paint, build and furnish.
Boat builder Helge will be back in Berlin from around mid-August, when we will tackle everything that still needs to be done.

is not finished
- Skylight for entrance area and wheelhouse / office
- Seminar room: shelves, fireplace, cork flooring, doors
- Entrance area: ceilings, cork flooring, stairs downstairs
- Wheelhouse / office: ceilings, walls, floors
- Ventilation for the whole ship
- 100 little things ....
I have already held smaller seminars and coaching sessions on board from time to time and am looking forward to the first larger seminars, training sessions and concerts....
But that is still a long way off.
Now I'm happy to hear the lapping of the waves, the chirping birds and to breathe a sigh of relief.
It's nice to be here...
