Coaching time-out on board

Does life often pass you by and you can barely keep up? A few days off can help you to feel renewed inside and clear your head again.

The fact is:

It's the same for all of us.

Life is full of appointments, opportunities and obligations - we hardly get a chance to reflect. This is not our fault: life is like this today. We all know the feeling of not being able to calm down, of no longer having a clear head and asking ourselves: "What am I actually doing here?"

That's why I invite you to spend an unforgettable time on board the Anna Grace directly on the Spree in south-east Berlin.

"With my time out on board, I have finally focussed on bringing my book project to the home straight. An invaluable time in an unusual setting with attentive company: space and time all to myself!"

Marie Deutscher
Singer and author

This is what the coaching time-out looks like

"That was really good for me on Kerstin's ship as a family manager and speaker: leaving everyday life behind for a few days, getting creative in the peace and quiet and developing new perspectives with outside support."

Andrea
Family manager

Enjoy time out

Get away from deadlines, tasks and challenges. Come to rest. Have time for the essentials. Tackle important issues with professional coaching.

The ship: the place to take time out

The 24 metre long ship, built in 1958, was originally a torpedo catcher for the GDR navy and later an excursion boat on the Baltic Sea.

From 2013 to 2018, I, Kerstin Hack, completely renovated the ship together with professionals and friends and converted it into a residential, seminar and guest ship.

The ship is located in the south-east of Berlin on the banks of the Spree, easily accessible and yet quiet and secluded.

It is the ideal place to relax on board or in the ship's garden. Just around the corner: a local recreation area for long walks.

Inspiringly different

Exceptional yet comfortable with shower and kitchen. Directly on the Spree with a wide view of the water.
In addition to the living and working area, there is a separate area for guests:

  • Guest kitchen, a guest room with sofa bed and desk and a bedroom with two bunks
  • two separate decks for guests, barbecue, kayaks
  • large room with a wood-burning stove and a wide view of the water - as a space for thinking and reflection.

The guest rooms are designed for people who need a break from everyday life in order to calm down, overcome crises, think something through with concentration or develop new perspectives.

"The time out with Kerstin was inspiring and encouraging for me. I am very grateful that I was able to start the new year in this way, full of strength, focussed and with a clear vision."

What do you want to achieve?

There are various formats and options for organising time out on board.

Focus

- Penetrate something at its core -

The situation

Today, we are constantly bombarded with impulses and ideas. The world of work is often quite fragmented and fast-paced. Many jobs are overheated and you always find yourself at the limit.

The ability to think deeply about a topic is rather rare. And many of the problems we have stem from the fact that we don't deal with them in enough detail and think things through to the end.

What is possible

So how about taking a few days off and thinking about big things with professional guidance? Having time, staring at the water and pursuing the important questions - that sounds good. Many topics can be tackled in three days.

This is the content of Fokus.

We spent three days with the focus programme. It really helped us. Above all, the external support was worth its weight in gold. We're thinking about doing this every year.

Healing

- Coming to terms with experience, creating hope -

The situation

Life is not always easy. Whether it's the loss of something valuable, a defeat, separation or inner struggles. Many people feel this way. Where is a place to deal with these feelings? Where can you find new strength?

What is possible

Trees draw their strength from their roots. I accompany you in dealing with existential issues and questions to which there are no answers. Whether death, separation, sadness or deep disappointments - the shadow in life has deep power for new paths. During four days with time for reappraisal, new perspectives can emerge.

This is what shadow work offers.

I kept thinking about the time out and was always grateful for how everything developed as a result and afterwards!

Perspective

- Clarify something for myself: Where do I stand?

The situation

Life comes in waves. Every now and then we find ourselves at a fork in the road and ask ourselves where the path leads. Whether in relationships or at work - our decisions shape our path in life. Where is a place to get to the bottom of these questions?

What is possible

Calm down first so that you can get off to a better start. What if you had time for the really important questions? If someone helped you to sort out your thoughts? With clarity, you can make many decisions better. Most knots can be untied in four days.

We offer you a safe framework for clarity and self-discovery.

Of course. That's what many people do. We offer you a framework that helps you not to get bogged down and to take steps. With a little guidance, many things go better - and you can get more out of your time.

Then take the thinking time. We will then prepare your time-out with you and tailor it to your situation.
