My ship

The dream

Converting a ship, and an ancient one at that - built in 1953 - doesn't that make you a bit crazy? Perhaps.

I dreamed of a place where people could come to rest, be inspired, receive new thoughts and take away impulses to live their lives more clearly and better. Through seminars, coaching and inspiring events.

A place where people find new perspectives. Young people who want to orientate their lives. People who bear responsibility and simply want to come to rest and reflect. And people who have experienced a crisis due to a stroke of fate.

The concept:

For people looking for new perspectives, the ship can be a place where they can stare at the water for one or more days, up to a maximum of three weeks, and process painful experiences with professional help. But they can also plan their next steps. After all, every crisis offers the opportunity to throw some stressful behaviour patterns and ways of thinking overboard at the same time. With the expectation and the aim that they will leave the ship stronger than when they arrived.

There is a seminar and coaching room on the ship for all of this.

There are also two guest cabins in which a maximum of four people can stay overnight. The concept has already proved its worth in the first year: Coaching guests have received help and inspiration and have left the ship feeling different than when they arrived.

Of course, a ship like this is never finished - there is still the opportunity to work practically on board and to combine this with reflection and coaching.

The seminar room plus kitchenette and deck with barbecue can be hired for events - it is suitable for workshops for up to 15 people and for lectures and concerts for up to twenty people.

Important note - the ship is not a hostel!

For reasons of commercial law and above all to leave room for people looking for orientation, I am not making the ship available as an overnight accommodation for visitors to Berlin. There are plenty of great hotels and hostels in Berlin. I would therefore ask you not to send me any enquiries in this direction. Thank you.

Rest periods

And so that I can always find peace and quiet myself, the boat is only available for guests from the 2nd - 22nd of the month. During the rest of the time, I recharge my batteries. So that I can then be fully present again.
