860,000 x Shaping lives

At the weekend I wanted to know how many books, impulse booklets, quadros, videos and calendars I have published in the last 14 years. I counted and calculated and came up with the proud total of

860,000 units!

For all those who have dollar signs in their eyes when they read this and think we must be filthy rich, let me tell you:

• We haven't sold everything yet. Some of the books such as Imagine, Feuertaufe, Apostel der Stadt and Den Himmel offen sehen are still waiting for more readers. And as you always have to print large quantities, „only“ 600,000 copies have probably been sold so far.
• We earn around 20 cents on an impulse booklet and a little more on quadros and books - depending on whether we sell them directly or via intermediaries.
• Spread over 14 years and 9 months, that's 3389 units produced (not sold) per month. Up to 10 people who work full or part-time at Down to Earth have to live off the proceeds. That is often a tight squeeze.
• I need the income from coaching and lectures - I can't live from publishing alone at the moment.

Nevertheless, it is wonderful.

860,000 opportunities to inspire and influence people!

I keep getting feedback from people like the following:

• At a certain stage in my life, your things were a lifesaver for me.
• The LEA course gave me the strength to lose weight and then climb mountains again with my husband.

So I am happy to have hundreds of thousands of opportunities to influence people. And of course I'm a visionary - and would love to expand my and our capacities. I would like to make more things available for free: Inspiring articles, helpful background info, beautiful templates to download e.g. to „say thank you“.

You can take part!

I can't afford to hire and pay more people at the moment, but I have space and tasks for people who have a few hours a week or month and would like to help inspire people.

• Research: Research quotes, information, addresses for articles, texts etc.
• Graphic: Design things beautifully, e.g. Better Living Tips, which we can offer as a download (with your name on it, of course!)
• Translation.  German-English: Native speaker support for the English LEA and Quadros would be great. Other languages: We would be happy to offer our titles as ebooks in other languages: French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Dutch, Japanese....to give more people access to the inspiration therein....
• Communicators: People who publicise our products in their environment.
• Image management: Crop images to appropriate sizes, find keywords, place in databases...
• Find errors: Especially in blog posts, some always sneak in.... sharp eyes would be great.
• Craftsmen: In order to complete the coaching and seminar ship, we still need carpenters, tilers and lots of people to help out for a few hours or days - with or without previous craft experience.
• Prayer: It's at the end, but it's very important to us: people who pray with us for God's blessing - for us as a team and for the people who are touched by us. (We write a prayer info e-mail once a month, which you are welcome to receive!).

It would be wonderful if my team and I could reach and influence even more people with what we do. If you would like to contribute - for example, on a one-off holiday or as an internship or on a regular basis, e.g. a few hours a month - just let me know. And of course - you don't have to be in Berlin. All tasks can be done from the comfort of your own home.
