Discover life: Quite fitting
Oops… somehow this post never got published… it must be from around October… when the old windows were still in the ship… well, here it is now.
Was I alive today?
Yes!
What new things have I learnt about life?
I now know why you need a tap. If possible, you fasten screws with nuts that you feed through a carrier. But sometimes that doesn't work. Then you can use a tap to cut a thread directly into the material - for example the steel from the ship! How marvellous!
What new things have I discovered about myself?
I love 3-dimensional puzzles. We are currently lining the ship with insulating material. This is on large rolls, which then have to be stuck to the surfaces to be insulated - especially the roof and walls. I find covering large surfaces rather boring. However, I love the sporting challenges that present corners that you can only get into with one or two fingers...and that still have to be insulated. Helga, who helped me yesterday and today, fortunately loves the large surfaces. How practical.
And....I hate leaks!
