My good life - your good life
Today was a wonderful day - at least after I digested the horror of being woken up by a loud compressor with a dip in the Spree...
Monday is my creative day. I'm creative most of the time. But on the first working day of the week, I make a special effort - in line with the SWING - Concept a lot of time for it. And today the writing was easy. That's not always the case. But maybe it helped that I was able to jump into the Spree every two hours and refresh myself before continuing.
I have been working intensively on further course lessons for my online training Your good life and was really happy with the result at 6.00 pm. I even had the energy to listen to a lesson from an online training course on the way to the shops.
One reason why I'm working like a world champion on the course right now is that I'm already dreaming of something new: I want to write another book.
Anyone who knows me will recognise some of the sentences I often say:
- It can be what is. I shape what becomes.
- If you make a mountain out of a molehill, don't be surprised if you are soon overrun by a herd of elephants.
- There are more problems than solutions
- Well thought out is well done.
- Whether the glass is half full or half empty is unimportant. The important thing is to know where the tap is for refilling.
- And many more.
I have summarised the most important insights of my life in these crisp, sometimes controversial sentences. And I dream of sharing these insights with you - writing something explanatory and a few stories for each sentence. In the hope that it will also strengthen your life.
The small problem is that there is currently not enough money to pre-finance the 5 - 10,000 euros that a project like this easily costs, from editing to graphics to printing.
But - I have my sentences. :
- It can be what it is. The reality is that there is not enough money. Denying reality doesn't help. I accept: that's the way it is right now. And: I shape what happens. I come up with solutions.
- If you make a mountain out of a molehill, don't be surprised if you are soon overrun by a herd of elephants. Okay. The lack of money is really stupid. But I've already mastered completely different challenges. I'm not going to turn the mosquito „lack of money“ into the bimbo elephant „huge problem“. The mosquito is annoying. But not worth too much fuss.
- There are more problems than solutions. I think that sentence is really cool. And totally true. For every stupid problem there are a few, maybe even hundreds of solutions. I can think of mine: From marrying a millionaire, selling things on Ebay, taking out a loan, singing in the street to crowdfunding.
- Well thought out is well done. Once you've thought a problem through, the rest is relatively easy. The millionaire was cancelled for reasons of time - getting to know a person so well that you want to marry them takes a while, just like selling things on eBay. I don't want to wait that long to write the book. I don't want to put humanity through singing in the street and loans are putting me under pressure.
So crowdfunding seems to be the best solution. Crowdfunding means that a lot of people (crowd) get something off the ground together - by raising the money for a project together (funding).
I like crowd funding. Someone can say: „I think that's good. I'll contribute with my money - and maybe also with my time by telling others about it.“
And anyone who takes part will receive the cool thank-you gift they choose for their contribution at the end, for example a signed book or several. A coaching session at a special price, two days on the boat, etc. You can register yourself on the platform Startnext to see what's available.
The rules of the game: If enough people take part, the thing will happen. If not, then it doesn't. Then no money will flow. And if it works, you get a cool thank-you for your contribution.
So far that's been thought through. Half done so far.
Now it's your turn.
You can still take part. I'm even asking you to. Because currently only - or already - just under half of the amount needed for the book has been raised. But as I say myself:
- Whether the glass is half full or half empty is unimportant. The important thing is to know where the tap is for refilling.
Therefore - a warm invitation to fill up the glass even more.
With crowdfunding Startnext platform you will find all further details. And if you can't spare any money right now, it's also a gift if you become a FAN, leave comments etc.

I'm curious to see if we can do it together, The good life come true. That would be a dream. I hope it becomes a reality. And I'm already writing my other projects like a world champion so that when you hopefully give me the go-ahead for my new book in a fortnight' time, I can devote all my energy to it.
