Stay happy - despite corona
A good mood does not protect against infection with the coronavirus, but it definitely increases the chances of survival if you are infected with Covid 19.
Or vice versa: fear and panic release stress hormones - which weaken the immune system. You don't need that right now.
I see how much is being reported in the media and discussed on social media about corona and Covid 19). And I've been thinking about what I can do to help people who are now stressed by the outbreak of the disease and the media reports.
Three aspects were particularly important to me:
- Panic helps no one
- It is important to have practical information now on what you can do.
- Nobody has all the time in the world to painstakingly gather information.
I find it easy to summarise the essentials briefly and clearly. That's why I've done it for you. Here and in a Corona checklist.
Corona: What is the most sensible thing you can do right now?
1. the best is, of course, you don't get infected in the first place. That's why effective Protective measures necessary e.g.
- Don't touch your face with your hands.
- Wash your hands regularly for thirty seconds with warm water and soap up to the wrists
- Clean / disinfect objects that others have used.
2. the second best is, you have - if you do catch the virus - a Strongest possible immune system. For example
- At least 30 minutes of exercise per day, ideally outdoors. A Quadro with tips for exercise.
- An attitude of Gratitude and trust. Read Psalm 23 or 91, for example.
- Healthy nutrition and plenty of vitamin D, C and B12, e.g. apples. Currants, citrus fruits, peppers.
3. the third best is - if you have the virus or are in quarantine for safety reasons - that you sufficient supplies at home, for example

I read your article on corona precautions with interest
I miss local varieties of the juices suggested, e.g. apple and redcurrant
Why does it always have to be the foreign stuff It has nothing to do with sustainability
It also strengthens local farmers
Greetings from the beautiful Hohenlohe region from a redcurrant grower
Dear Martin,
Thank you very much for the tip! You're absolutely right. I eat apples every day and love redcurrants. I've already added it to the blog post and it will be added to the list in the next few days. My graphic designer and my webmaster always have to work on it first.
