Time out - last week in Wales

In the last 12 years, I have worked intensively....oft only took one week's holiday a year - and usually only with friends, because hotels etc. would have blown my budget. 12 years of development work in publishing and seminar work with many challenges and crises have cost me a lot of energy - although I have always made sure to take time for reflection.

So it was and is a huge gift for me that I was able to take a longer break for the first time - thanks to gifts from friends, the winter break at the publishing house (the next manuscripts are just starting to arrive) and my brilliant team, who have had my back for the last few weeks, so that I was only needed for a short time (20 - 60 minutes a day).

I feel that I am slowly regaining energy.... In autumn I was really exhausted and at the edge of my strength. I now feel new energy for what I've done so far (seminar, coaching, publishing house) and energy for the new - building up the ship as a place where people can find help and experience God.

From February onwards, I will always be on board one long weekend a month to lend a hand. That's not super much, but it's all I can manage alongside a full-time job and usually 1 - 2 seminars a month that I give (often at the weekend). It's a shame that the ship is in Hamburg, otherwise I could come round more often after work. Now it's just the way it is...

Ffald y Brennin

Today I'm setting off for the last week of my time out. I will be in a prayer house in Wales. The Bible repeatedly describes how God has shown himself particularly clearly in certain places and at certain times. Ffald y Brenin in Wales is such a place. For some time now, people who come there have experienced that God speaks to them very deeply. Others experience that he heals them. In the book „The Grace Outpouring“ tells of what happens there, but also the principles of prayer and life according to which the community there organises its life. I read the book recently and it really moved and inspired me.

I will be travelling there with my friend Rosemarie and I am excited. I hope that I will be inspired - the ship should also be a place where people can meet God in depth and hear from HIM what is important to Him for the near future.
