Diverse help
One thing that really impresses me is that people are contributing to the ship project in so many different ways - each with their own gifts.
- There is Annedore, who calls me every Tuesday morning to pray with me for the project and other things (and many others pray too).
- There's Christian and Katrin, who will spend their married evenings on board from time to time - to give the ship a little prank, because working together also brings people together.
- There is Karin, who gives me cassettes so that we can operate the historical music system on board.
- There are the people who pay for the derusting overhead so that I don't have to painfully do it myself.
- There are Kristina and Tom, architects, who have spent a day surveying the entire ship and are now drawing plans.
- There's Tobias, who has hauled a large load of provisions on his motorbike so that we don't starve on board.
- There are the two Bernds and some men from the shipyard who give me advice when I don't know what to do.
- There's Bernd, who gets me 4 large tanks through an acquaintance.
- There's Stephan, who organised a water system for me.
- There's Daniela, who brings me 6 portholes from Cuxhaven to Hamburg.
- There are all those who provide the financial basis for the ship with loans and gifts.
- There are the many helpers who lend a hand for a few hours or days so that the ship becomes more beautiful from week to week and comes closer to its destination.
- There are many others that I haven't even mentioned.
I find it fascinating how different people with different gifts and possibilities contribute to making a dream come true.
