Compliment of the day

After a long train journey (my flight was cancelled… due to the lingering effects of volcanic ash), I arrived at my friends’ house and met six-year-old David. His mum told me about a conversation they’d had at bedtime.
Mum: „What was the best bit of the day?“
He: „What a question. That Kerstin was finally there! She’s much prettier than I’d imagined.“
Mum: „What do you actually like about her, apart from the fact that she’s pretty?“
He said: „That you can have a really good, in-depth chat with her.“
I reckon I’ve made a new friend!
