Discover strengths
Gift tests are actually something serious. You fill them in, read the results and afterwards you know (more) about who you are and what you're good at. Or so I thought. Yesterday I took the Strengthsfinder 2.0, one of the best scientific tests for discovering your own strengths.
When I read the description of my strengths, I started laughing out loud. Rarely has anyone described me so well and so precisely. My ability to think outside the box, to discover solutions where others hadn't even noticed the problem, to create lots of ideas - all this was described so precisely that I couldn't stop laughing and marvelling. A friend I showed my results to felt the same way.
I learnt that gift tests can be quite amusing. What I liked about the test - apart from the accurate descriptions - was the fact that there were tips on how to develop each strength. I find that very helpful. I can only recommend it.
To take the test, you need to get the Strenghtfinder 2.0. book (15 euros, which is well worth it). At the back of the book there is a code for the test. The test can be taken in German, but the analyses are unfortunately only available in English.
