Grateful

Just after washing most of today’s grime off with a hot shower, I feel nothing but gratitude… for hot showers, but above all for the lovely people who surprise me, bless me and help me….

Today, Marie painted the skirting boards – all the ones we’ll need over the next few weeks are now ready – brilliant. Bernd has been welding the base for a drinking water tank. Yves has been sticking on insulation. Kathrin brought some water round and took the rubbish away. And I checked a coat of paint and touched it up in places.

The latest figures show that 1,200 hours of work have been carried out on the boat since mid-August. Over 1,000 of those hours were contributed by volunteers and myself. And 300 since the start of the year. If enough people continue to lend a hand, we should be able to finish by the end of April. I’m looking forward to it.

I am truly amazed at the many different ways in which God answers my prayers by sending people to support me in this project. Truly amazed. And grateful!
