Houseboat - support and challenges

The ship was supposed to be at the shipyard near Berlin by now. But shortly before the planned transport, the crane company that was supposed to lift the ship out of the water and put it on a truck cancelled. Then the company that was supposed to pull it from Hamburg to Berlin by water cancelled. Now we are working on plan C (or E or F). We - that's mainly Karl, the boat builder, who is putting all his energy (and more) into the project.

Apart from that, I am still impressed and grateful for the support I receive.

A few examples:

- Several people have promised me practical help with the renovation. Or support with the artistic design of the ship.

- Someone has set up a standing order for 10 euros a month to support the project - I am very touched by this.

- A woman who lost practically all her savings in the banking crisis thought and prayed about how she could support the project. While praying, she had the following idea. She owns drawings by the artist Lieselotte Plangger-Popp. They are drawings with motifs from Iceland, drawn with a reed pen. There are 18 drawings. They vary in size from 47 cm by 35 cm to larger ones. I may sell the drawings and take the money for the boat. I did some research on the Internet: The prices for works by Lieselotte Plangger-Popp between 30 and 150 euros.

Questions:

a) Are any of you interested in a drawing? Let me know and make me an offer. From 30 euros you're in.

b) Who has experience in selling drawings / art? I need support here to be able to sell the drawings as well as possible.

The whole project remains an adventure. I'm looking forward to the next steps.
