Clock. CO2-negative.

What I love: CO2-negative products

There are more solutions than problems.

Kerstin Hack

I am convinced of that. There are more solutions than problems.

When I'm cold, I can wrap myself in a blanket, jump on the spot, hug a person or switch on the heating.

There is usually more than one solution to every problem. There are actually no problems that cannot be solved - at most problems for which the price of solving them seems too high so far.

Solutions for too much CO2

The problem of too much CO2 can be solved by producing, heating or travelling less. But it can also be solved by planting trees or mangroves - mangroves bind up to five times as much CO2 as trees.

Or by using the Tony Rinaudo developed FMNR method, which quickly creates new forests from the roots of cut-down trees.

Alternative: C02-negative products

Or by turning CO2 into new products: tiles, sunglasses, laptop covers.

A whole series of prototypes or products that are already available can be found on the website of XPricewho have used the prize money to finance the development of CO2 negative products. From vodka and sunglasses to wax crayons.

I think it's beautiful. And beautiful for the world.
