I am grateful…

– that the neo-Nazis were only able to march 600 metres through Berlin yesterday – although I would have preferred it to be 0 metres.

– that there were no street battles like in previous years – although I would have preferred it if there had been no violence at all.

– that it started to rain at exactly the right moment that evening and helped to put out the riot… we had been praying specifically for that in the weeks leading up to it.

– that 500 Christians had come to Kreuzberg to pray together for a peaceful 1 May
