Advent: Instead of getting fat, get smart

On 9 November, the time had come. I pulled the lever. A balloon of the „Lichtergrenze“ rose into the air... as a reminder that 25 years ago the wall had fallen. I was one of 8000 participants... together we brought the „wall“ down. Just like back then... when the prayers, protests of many people and the stupid and wise actions of those responsible led to the fall of the wall.

What moves me: Jesus says of himself that he is the light that has come into the world. We remember this during Advent - we rejoice that he has brought us light. But Jesus also says: „You are the light of the world.“

Lights come in different sizes. Some shine far and wide. These are people we call „world changers“ and portray in the „world changer impulse booklets“. World changers because they used their talents and influence to bring about change in religion, politics, business, education or art. You can be inspired by such people - to be light yourself.
