I love advent calendars

I confess: I love Advent calendars and Advent wreaths - for me, this is one of the most beautiful traditions we Germans have developed. I like them in all shapes and forms:

Advent wreaths

- classic red and green with fir

- very modern with white, glass

Advent calendar

- The commercial ones - with one piece of chocolate a day in various forms.

- self-made with lots of surprises.

- Calendar with a daily saying.

- ...

What do I like about it?

On Advent wreaths: The reminder that most developments are processes... getting brighter and brighter... week by week...

Advent calendars: The feeling of getting up in the morning and being welcomed into the day by a lovely surprise is simply wonderful... perhaps especially if, like me, you live alone and don't have anyone to whistle: „Good morning, darling!“ (or, to be realistic, growls: „What, getting up already?!). Starting the day with the feeling of being loved is simply wonderful.

I sometimes feel the same way when I wake up in the morning. Solutions - a Bible text chosen / drawn by lot for each day. I am also curious and excited beforehand. What will speak to me today, encourage me, correct me, surprise me?

I've been curious and excited for days... and I hope... there's even one at IKEA that has vouchers for furniture hidden in it as well as chocolate... of course I'd love to have it... in the hope that it will make designing the ship easier...

Maybe I think so much about Advent calendars because I'm currently packing and sending out the Advent calendar that we designed ourselves almost every day, so the topic of „Advent calendars“ is constantly present. I think it's really great - for individuals or even office teams and families. With 25 impulse booklets and a quadro as a Christmas present - for a truly inspiring Advent season... which we think is a great idea. smartest advent calendar in the world... 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One Advent calendar that I will definitely be using during the Advent season is the Desired time.  A 24-day impulse booklet that uses quotes and questions to encourage you to track down your own wishes and dreams... and discover ways to fulfil them.

Oh, I'm looking forward to that time!
