Clothes cure
The action „Fashion protest“ encourages you to think about how much clothing you actually need and to do without superfluous items.
Her recommendation is to minimise your wardrobe for Lent:
The Minimalist wardrobe consists of 50 pieces. Everyone can decide for themselves which items of clothing they need. But here is our recommendation for orientation:
Trousers, skirt, dress: 4
Shirt, blouse, shirt (long and short sleeve): 14
Cardigan, jacket, blazer, waistcoat, etc.: 4
Underwear (briefs/bras) 8/2
Stockings (pairs): 10
Tights, leggings, etc.: 2
Shoes, boots: 2
Jacket, coat: 1
Accessories, scarf, gloves, hat: 3
That triggered a protest in me at first: that's never enough. And if you only have 8 pairs of knickers, you have to wash them all the time. That's not very ecological either.
Nevertheless. It also got me thinking. How many items of clothing do I actually have? How many would I like to have? What do I think makes sense? How can I combine items of clothing so that I can make as many outfits as possible from as few items of clothing as possible?.
Thanks for the idea.
I think you can also apply this to other areas. In my case: my (always too full) desk.
Which 50 objects may be left on it?
I don't know exactly yet... But today I'm going to see what I don't need, what can go, what can be moved to another place...!
