Building on and Swiss debt

2016-12-09-21-25-38While I was away on holiday and experiencing challenges, Helge continued building here for a good two weeks. The result: the wheelhouse, i.e. my office, now has a floor and two walls painted blue...

In other words: Now all Rooms in the ship are roughly finished, have floors and walls.

This is another milestone! I am grateful

We are continuing to build: big things are still missing

  • Ceiling panelling in the hallway, office and toilet
  • Door to the seminar room and fireplace there
  • Stairs down
  • Ventilation
  • Cork flooring in the seminar room and entrance area
  • Shelves in some places and another 10,000 little things

Repayment of loan

Even though we will continue building over the next few months and I am grateful for any practical and financial help, I want to try to pay back loans. In the initial construction phase, some friends lent me money so that I could buy the boat and start the project.

The loans from Switzerland in particular - totalling 20,690 euros - are weighing heavily on my mind, because repaying them in small or large instalments always incurs bank charges. That's why I'm currently looking for Swiss friends who want to take 10, 50, 100 or 500 francs off my mountain of debt. If you have it in your heart to relieve me, just write me the amount. I will then give you the account number of my Swiss friends and we can reduce the mountain together.

I would be delighted!

Update 1 week later:

I am very happy. Thanks to a really big gift, Swiss loans have now shrunk by 10%. That takes the edge off the mountains of debt!
