Farewell to the first coaching guest on board

I'm feeling a touch wistful right now. I've said goodbye to my first coaching guest on the ship. I decided a few months ago that, even though the ship wasn't ready yet, I wanted to start a test run. Michael was the first coaching guest to take the risk and stay on board for longer. He was looking for guidance for himself. I coached him and he lived on the ship and helped out...

He was really tough...endured an unfinished ship and some turmoil...and set out to throw useless patterns and beliefs overboard....

when I come back from England he will probably no longer be there... : - ( So it was time to say goodbye. It was a very good time. I learnt a lot. I think he did too... and I'm proud of him and the way he embraced change processes. And I'm sure that he will continue on his path well...
We had an intensive, creative final coaching session earlier. It really is the end of a stage... a bit sad. And really good.
