What does it feel like to have a heart?

One day, a young woman asked me:
„What’s it like to be a man?“
I replied:

„My dear,
“I'm not really sure about that."

To which she replied:
„Why – aren’t you a man?“

This time, I replied:

„For me, gender is
like a beautiful animal
that people are often kept on a lead
to lead a parade
and that they sometimes use
in order to compete with one another in a strange way
to win some funny prizes.

My dear,
a better question,
which you, Hafiz, could have asked me,
would have been:

What does it feel like to have a heart?

Because all I know is love.
And I find it in everything and everywhere
“my boundlessly vast heart.’
