One after the other
I’d been away for 10 days – and back at the office, I was greeted by the usual mountain of work…
It’s great that my team has already sorted out the most important things.
I take things one at a time. I used to try and quickly skim through all my emails after a holiday, just to get an overview. But that just means doing the work twice.
Now I prefer to do it in a focused way: I read an email and think about my reply straight away. Only then do I move on to the next one.
After all, you can move mountains one stone at a time.
