Ship....we fight our way forward....
Slowly you can see how beautiful the ship will be. The following has happened in the last few weeks:
- Wood for ceilings and walls was purchased, painted and installed.
- The electrics were moved further
- The guest deck has been completely derusted and painted.
- A door to the deck was installed.
For the next few months we need
- Money for electricity - especially for solar systems, batteries and solar panels to generate environmentally friendly electricity and heat water.
- Money for environmentally friendly paints, varnishes and wood to further advance interior construction.
- Money for a solar system for electricity and hot water (approx. 7000 euros).
- Lots of helpers for painting, assembly etc.
Goal
- Goal 1: To be roughly ready by October: to have seminar rooms and guest area functional.
- To be completely finished by the end of 2015. Although you're never finished with a ship... but that's another story.
That still means a lot of work. And a lot of money (20 - 30,000 euros).
I am infinitely grateful for everything that has already happened. For me, it is a series of many, many small miracles that have made this project possible. I'm grateful for all the help I've received. And I'm pretty much infinitely tired from 40 months of intensive work, juggling finances etc.
