Small highlights
My highlights from yesterday:
- A man who asked me if I had seen the fireworks on 4 July. When I said no, he showed me his blurred pictures on a mini mobile phone display (approx. 1.5 x 2 cm). There was hardly anything to recognise - apart from his enthusiasm.
- Luxury grocery shop in Soho. (Abbreviation for South of Houston Street). Aesthetically a delight.
- A beautiful wallet in Down to Earth green with lots of great compartments. Given the price (knocked down to 68 dollars), I left it there. Too bad.
- Really nice leather handbags - reduced by 70% ....With a starting price of 500 + dollars still beyond my budget.
- "Bound for success" An exhibition of the competition winners of a international bookbinding competition. Fantastically beautiful books.
- Open air concert in Long Island. Goo goo Dolls are not quite my kind of music...even if I liked some of the songs. But the setting, open air right by the sea, was simply unbeatable.
Today...dawdling...Saturday stuff...doing housework with my friends...relaxing afternoon and evening with friends....
Hi Kerstin, finally found time to check out your blog again and see...you're in NY!!!!
Even though I have never been there - I have a strangely close relationship with this city and would like to ask you to leave a kind greeting from me there. May you continue to have interesting and profound encounters and blessings on your journey!
LG - Dagmar
Greetings will be sent.... I'll find a nice place for it.
