Ship test operation

Hartmut Mehdorn has suggested that BER Airport should first be run in test mode for a while: Just a few take-offs and landings per day to test and optimise processes so that everything is well established by the time the airport actually opens. The idea failed due to bureaucratic hurdles and what else I know. But I thought it was a good idea. And I'm now implementing it in my ship project.

I will be starting test operations on my ship from August. I have been asked this question time and again in the past: „How exactly do you want to do that?“ „How long can guests stay?“ „Who exactly?“ „What conditions?“ And my answer is always: „I don't know exactly?“ There are few role models for such a coaching seminar and oasis ship. And I don't know myself what the right balance, the right mix is for me. That's why I'm simply trying it out in a relaxed way.

From August, people can get in touch with me and ask for a place on the ship if they are in a phase of change and reorientation and/or simply want to have a few days for themselves and God.

It is not 100% luxurious: there is currently a toilet, drinking water, a hotplate and a kettle on board. And a guest room with a mattress on the floor and a curtain as a door. It won't be completely quiet because we are still building. But still: it's lovely on the water, especially in summer - and the ship is big enough so that you can retreat to one corner or another.

So just get in touch if that would be something for you. And of course: we are still looking for craftsmen and helpers...you are very welcome - whether as a guest, a craftsman or a mixture of both.
