My special Advent calendar - learning from role models
Recently I was at my Reflection day at the beginning of the month briefly in a department store. There were Advent calendars on display in an area bigger than my ship. Most of them were calorie bombs. Some were also full of cosmetics (who needs more samples and tubes?).
Advent calendars are wonderful - something as a gift every day... But not everyone wants chocolate and perfume.
So I came up with something else: 24 biographies of men and women, that have changed the world + one extra for Christmas.
I really like them - they are compact, but still give a deep insight into what led a person to courageously tackle a challenge. The courage biographies are also great for families to talk to each other.
