Which untidy corner is really bothering you? The answer will do you good
My question of the week
I love good questions, because I know that they have the power to stimulate thought and create something new. Once you've found the right question, you've taken a big step forward - often the path to the answer is not far away. Because I love to help people move forward, I will now ask a question every week that I hope will inspire you.
My question of the week:
Which one, untidy corner is weighing you down?
The background to the question is that we often put up with clutter for quite a long time. And that even if you ignore it, clutter takes an emotional toll because it is constantly signalling: You should do something here. It causes stress. It's better to live without it. One less untidy corner will do you the world of good.
At the same time, the focus is on one corner. Sure, in an ideal life you tackle everything ... in real life that doesn't work. When a stressful corner finally tidied up that brings a lot of relief and new energy. Creating one - that is realistic.
My stressful, untidy corner: the hallway
I asked myself this question yesterday and quickly found the answer: The entrance area of my ship. As we're still building the ship, it's quite easy to put things away instead of putting them back in their place. Usually in the hallway. In recent times, shelves from a rack have accumulated there, as have boxes of books, flower seeds and a lot more.
I couldn't carry the planks away on my own, so I had to use the Corridor project postponed for weeks. Someone recently helped me with the boards and yesterday I finally tackled the rest. It wasn't so bad in the end. Usually 20 minutes is enough to improve a corner. In my case, everything was beautiful again in less than half an hour.
The reward: beautiful living
For me, it's a reward that it's so nice now and that I have one less untidy corner and one more cosy corner. It does me so much good. And it's also wonderful to know that guests are welcomed on board by a tidy space.
Last night a Coaching guest on board again. The first thing he said when he saw me this morning was: „Last night when I arrived, I saw the corridor and thought: “Wow, it's tidy!" Wow. Such a compliment!

Your untidy corner?
What is your answer to the question about the stressful, untidy corner? The hallway, the pile of books in the living room, the clothes in the bathroom, the papers on the desk? What do you want to tackle?
I am curious! Please write me your answer as a comment.
I would recommend that once you know the answer, you think about when exactly you want to tackle it. If you plan a time, you are three times more likely to realise what you have planned than if you leave it to chance.
