How to learn while teaching

I'm currently sitting on deck, wrapped up in a warm blanket and probably enjoying one of the last autumn days when you can still sit outside in the morning. I have the sun on my face and am happy about what I have recently learnt from teaching. Because you can actually learn a lot from teaching yourself.

Stop emotional eating. Webinar with Kerstin Hack Gauges

On 29 October, I held the first webinar of my life. On the topic „Stop emotional eating“ - You could also say: How can I finally stop frustration eating?.

I was so excited beforehand that I even dreamt of forgetting important points. At the start, I pressed the button for the sound, but not the one for the picture...

But then things went well. I was able to teach in a relaxed manner and give the participants three powerful strategies on how to get emotional eating under their feet:

  • How to satisfy all six hunger pangs
  • How to track down emotional connections through observation
  • How to „demystify“ certain foods emotionally“

Learning - my aha moments

I really enjoyed the webinar and the participants were extremely engaged. It was a pure joy to teach them something. At the same time, I learnt something myself.

  1. That's totally my thing. I would never have thought how much fun it would be to teach online and hold a webinar. You don't usually learn things about yourself in theory, but in experience.
  2. Emotions are also linked to certain types of eating events. The focus of the webinar was on the excessively strong inner connections to food, which the soul expects to bring certain emotions: relief, comfort, etc. But then one participant said: "Eating was always a competition for us. I realised: I know that too.

I learn by trying things out: That's my thing Learning

Come to rest. Three practical ways. A webinar by and with coach Kerstin Hack - for anyone who wants to bring more calm into their diary, body and soul to escape the hectic pace.
Clarity comes from trial and error, not from pondering - is an important sentence for me.

I enjoyed it so much that I made up my mind during the webinar: I'll do it again. I will always publish the dates and topics on my Appointment page and in my Inspiration mail announce.

The next webinar on the topic „Coming to rest. Three practical ways“ will take place on 26 November 2018 - but you can also watch the recording later.

Learning: What I learnt from the participants

The focus of my seminar was on releasing the emotional connection to certain foods. However, some participants also talked about eating situations that were difficult to control.

I realised: I know the frustration of not getting any dessert at a wedding buffet because others were quicker. Or trying to get the most delicious appetisers at a standing reception before others snatch them away from me. And of course I also know the feeling of triumph when I succeed.

I realised that such and similar thoughts and the feelings associated with them can set such strong inner driving forces in motion that it is almost impossible not to strike. This knowledge will help me personally and will also be incorporated into my work as a Coach flow in.

I will not only be able to effectively help people to dissolve too strong emotional connections to individual „addictive“ foods, but also to certain eating events and situations.

My team and I have decided: The first webinar will also be available later as a recording for anyone interested.

If you would like to view it, you can do so here book in the shop. You will then receive a link to the recording and 12 pages of participant documentation on which all strategies are explained in detail.

And I'm looking forward to more woven fabrics where I can teach and perhaps learn from you.

Please write me a comment: Which topics would be of particular interest to you?
