Woman in bed

Constantly weak and tired

"I feel tired and tired all the time. Even if I've slept enough at night, I don't have the energy. I can barely manage my work and then I just hang around in the evenings."

Some people have been feeling like Kathrin recently. Actually, people shouldn't be taught to manage their time, but their energy. In a small survey I conducted online, 70% of the participants stated that they often lack energy.

The change from summer to autumn is often difficult for many people. The days get shorter, the mornings are longer and it gets dark earlier in the evening. Somehow you can't get yourself to do anything. The first reaction is often to pull yourself together: Tighten your shoulders, shake off the listlessness and carry on. Open your eyes instead of closing them... and keep going. Keeping up the pace despite being tired takes extra energy.

What is missing?

It would be smarter to first analyse what energy is missing. Only then can you specifically top up what you are lacking. If you find yourself constantly yawning and fighting tiredness, then I recommend you do a check first. This check will make it easier for you to find the right "socket" for recharging.

The energy check

Sleep energy: Not only do we relax during sleep, we also process the experiences of the day in the REM phases. If we don't sleep, we can't process stress well. It builds up.

Emotional energy: Difficult times such as losses, stress or constant burdens due to caring for relatives or financial constraints take away energy.

This is my energy collection. I'm sure there are more forms of energy. Feel free to write to me if you can think of any more.

Do you want to start the autumn full of energy?

My tips:

  1. Check what kind of energy you lack the most. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist ; - ) - especially if you suspect that health or hormonal factors are involved.
  2. Then develop a concrete plan for how you can refill your empty tanks. How could you incorporate this energiser into your everyday life? Be as specific as possible, this will make it easier to implement. By the way: If you repeat something for more than 21 days, it becomes routine. This in turn costs less energy.
  3. If you can't think of much: In the webinar Recharge your batteries I will give you lots of background information and practical tips on how you can regain more energy. Click on the picture.
