Blessing means.... a text by Bonhoeffer
Blessing means:
Put your hand on something and say:
Despite everything, you belong to God.
That's what we do with the world,
that causes us such suffering
We are not leaving them.
We do not reject, despise or condemn them,
but we call them to God.
We give her hope,
We lay our hands on them and say:
May God's blessing be upon you.
We have received God's blessing
in happiness and in suffering.
But he who has been blessed himself,
he can no longer help himself
than pass on this blessing,
Yes, he has to be where he is,
be a blessing.
Only from the impossible
the world can be renewed,
This impossible is God's blessing.
