Converting a ship like this is a huge challenge: in terms of time, emotionally and financially. When it comes to the financial side in particular, I’m delighted that so many people are helping out, so I don’t have to shoulder the burden all on my own. After all, once it’s finished, the ship is meant to serve many people. So it’s lovely that so many people are supporting the project right now.
Yesterday, a friend gave me a banana crate full of books. I can sell them, and you can read them. And the proceeds will go towards the boat project.

Yay – the first three. – I’d been praying this morning that I’d sell five… Amazon charges 3 euros for postage PER book. If it were up to me, I’d say: 3 euros for all of them!
