Recently, I sat at a table on the train around which four people from healing professions had gathered by chance: an oncologist (cancer specialist), an occupational therapist (this used to be called „occupational therapy“), a body therapist and myself as a coach. Despite our different specialisms and backgrounds, we were united by the joy of seeing people heal.

We told each other about how we work with people - it was refreshing and enriching. The occupational therapist, for example, told us that she had worked with old ladies who were very unsteady in their movements, using balls on strings. At some point, the women focussed so much on the balls that they forgot that they were actually moving unsteadily. They walked around the room with relative ease. The therapist spoke glowingly about it: „When I saw that for the first time, I felt like Jesus!“

Encounters enrich and revitalise. That's why I think it's wonderful when real encounters with you are possible alongside virtual encounters. There will be many opportunities for this in the near future. I would like to invite you to all events, especially those such as the holiday week in Ticino or the conference in Cuxhaven, where there is a little more time for exchange and real encounters than in a one-to-one lecture.

Personal encounter during coaching

Coaching is an intensive dialogue on topics where you are not making much progress on your own. These can be professional, private or personal issues. I offer coaching live on site in Berlin or by telephone. Half-day or full-day coaching is a fantastic opportunity to think through „big“ topics such as career prospects, finding a partner, church commitment, spiritual growth and personal development in greater depth - this is of course only possible on site in Berlin.

Getting to know each other - while helping on board

Working together and chatting during breaks is a wonderful way to socialise. „There's always time for a cup of tea!“ is one of my favourite sayings, which I fully stand by - even in intense times. Recently, for example, I was able to help a refugee who was helping me to process some stressful things a little better in return.

After more than three years of construction, the boat is now 70-80% finished, but I still have a few intensive months ahead of me. And also several thousand euros in finances - especially for the heating so that guests and I don't freeze in winter.
