Becoming crisis-proof

There are more solutions than problems."

- Kerstin Hack

Actually...actually...actually I wanted to give three webinars in June on the topic of Becoming crisis-proof carry out.

Then there was a crisis. Or several.

Crisis 1: Holiday

People have written to me saying that they would like to be there but can't because it's the holidays. As a woman without children, I hadn't considered this when planning the dates.

Crisis 2: Concussion

It went badly. To be more precise: I ran stupidly. I ran full force into a beam that was harder than my head.

The result: I had a concussion.
I'm fine again, but the whole thing has of course cost me energy and time, which is lacking to prepare the webinars in the desired quality.

Crisis 3: Technology

The portal that we use for our courses was unavailable for days.
And then some robot took on a life of its own and bombarded us with queries so that nothing worked on our website.

Becoming crisis-proof

I often say: there are always crises. You "only" need a few solid strategies to overcome any crises that arise.

The most important thing: stay calm

Allow feelings: Sadness and anger.
But don't take what has happened personally:

"Why does life play with me like this?"

But stay calm. Of course, you practise this before the crisis. Learning to become more relaxed during a crisis is a feat that almost nobody can achieve.

The second most important thing: develop plan B

There are more solutions than problems and millions of ways, we try one way and then we see what else is possible now.
You become crisis-proof if you develop plan B relatively quickly in the event of a crisis.

My plan B is now:

  • A WEBINAR NOW
Instead of three webinars, I now hold "only" one:
    Becoming crisis-proof on Thursday, 20 June at 7.00 p.m.
  • ALL THREE WEBINARS IN SEPTEMBER
I will then hold the entire planned series in September

Monday 16 September
Crisis-proof home

Thursday 19 September
Crisis-proof emotions

Monday 23 September
Crisis-proof life

Then the holidays will be over everywhere. And hopefully everyone will have time.

If you have already opted for Becoming crisis-proof you don't need to register again. I'll send you the links in good time in September.

And because I like to make fertiliser out of dung, or rather make the best out of crises, here's another request:

Tell other people about the planned webinars.
Either by sending an email or posting the link to the Info and registration page share.

I have even developed a PDF with material to print out.
You can find this at the bottom of the Info page on becoming crisis-proof or directly here

I've revealed my two most important tips for crises.

I would be delighted if you could write in the comments what your most important tips are for crises.
