Half-time, whirlpool, steam sauna and key to heaven

One of our spiritual exercises here was to go to the wellness centre of a nearby hotel and let ourselves be pampered - to deepen our sense of being deeply loved and accepted by God. Not bad, I thought.

Just as I was about to set off, I heard German voices. I introduced myself as „Kerstin“. „Are you Kerstin Hack?“ a woman called Marika asked back.

It turned out that her name was Marika Reincke and that the Miracle house of God in Bremen, a place where healings and miracles happen regularly - both internal and physical.

I told her about my longing to experience more in the area of healing and the frustration that it hadn't been such a hit so far. She started laughing, saying she didn't know of any biography of anyone God had used in the area of healing who hadn't first gone through a long series of failures and learning experiences. She herself received a prophecy from someone 25 years ago that God would use her in the area of healing. She then started praying for sick people and continued to learn. For a few years now, she has been experiencing a lot of healing and deliverance. She is also training and we both suspect that this encounter can and will be the beginning of exchange, co-operation and mutual learning.

She and her two companions then prayed for me. It was strengthening, encouraging, explaining and releasing. And I am really excited about a few things that they promised me from God. For example, that things will happen through my prayer that will surprise me so much that I will turn round in amazement and say: „Was that me?“ (Just to be on the safe side to avoid misunderstandings...Jesus always performs the miracles...but also through us).

I then prayed for the three of them and, in a glimpse of a vision, saw a few doors in heaven that Jesus wanted to open for them. When I thought about it later, it occurred to me that spiritual gifts and areas of authority are perhaps like different rooms in heaven. Once you have opened up an area, you can move around in it with increasing ease - as I did in the area of prophecy, for example. After years of experience and practice, it is not difficult for me to receive impulses from God for other people. I have opened up this space. Other spaces not yet. I'm still trying out which keys open the doors. This idea helps me. And it also gives me a bit of courage.

After a warm farewell, I arrived at the spa area a little late. It was no longer possible to book massages, but the sauna and whirlpool were still open. I was enjoying the sauna, then reading something when I noticed a young woman who was struggling to walk. I followed her into the whirlpool and told her that I had noticed that she was struggling to walk. She explained to me that it was the result of a hip disease with a complicated name. I asked if I could pray for her. She said yes. I prayed and was almost surprised that nothing dramatic happened. It was her birthday that day...I would have liked that so much as a gift from Jesus. But who knows...and I continue to pray that Jesus will touch her with his power.

Then a round of steam sauna. A burly man was sitting next to me, sweating away. I sensed that he had something to do with house building and asked him about it, which he confirmed - plasterer. And then I had a prophetic word, which I passed on to him and which he accepted - in a rather rough male manner. „That's a good word!“ He even politely shook my hand as a farewell - in the steam room...in this country, people wear swimwear, which I found pleasant when passing on a prophetic impulse to a man.

I then read on in Aliss's book and at one point she describes that discouragement can really be a spirit that presses us from the outside. I am absolutely not a person who sees demons behind every book, but the intense discouragement in the last few days, the frequent crying is rather atypical for me. So I bid the spirit of discouragement to leave. And felt relief.

One woman really beamed at me and I complimented her on her energetic swimming. She pointed to her belly and said „That has to go!“ I really do have a heart for overweight people. I coach people to lose weight and switch to a healthy diet and lifestyle. I would really like - and pray for - people who are really overweight that Jesus would simply take a few pounds off them. And then of course help them further.

In the hot tub, Liana (or something like that) and I continued the conversation. I told her that I would like to ask Jesus to help her lose weight. And also for her husband, who has had neck problems since an accident. She beamed at me and said that would be wonderful. I prayed and she told me that she had somehow believed in Jesus before, but now she had more doubts. I told her that it is easier to believe in Jesus when he lives in us than when we only look for him outside ourselves. And that Jesus wants to come to us, forgive our sins and walk with us through life. She thought that was beautiful. And then, under my guidance, she invited Jesus into her life. She is from the area and I recommended that she come by the guest house to meet other friends of Jesus.

That was somehow a good day.
